Resources

If you have stumbled on my Sweet Zoë’s blog because you are frantically looking for information about PPROM, preterm labor, bedrest, micro preemies, or NICU stays, first let me express my utmost sympathies.

I’ve listed here a few links that may provide you with some much needed information as well as a few others that can bring you to some online support. You may be surprised at how many of us are out here in the internets and we’re usually willing to offer advice if you want it and a good ear if you need it.

Resource websites
Kanalen.org – Information about PROM and PPROM

Sidelines – a bedrest support site

March of Dimes – a wealth of information about premature babies

NICU Parent Support Site

Blogs
Stirrup Queens and Sperm Palace Jesters – A wonderful resource and community of people. If it relates to getting pregnant and having a baby, someone there knows about it. Mel, the owner of the blog, also maintains the most comprehensive, categorized list of blogs around to help you find others in similar straits.

Glow in the Woods – This is a new community of women who have lost babies. It’s a club that hates to see new members just because of the criteria to join, but in addition to providing support when the worst happens, there is a wealth of experience to be shared if you have questions.

Our Own Creation – I feel sort of silly listing this, and I’m not trying to toot my own horn, but this is my other blog. It covers my own experiences of the past few years. Since this blog is primarily about Zoë, you may find answers to your questions over there where I recorded what was happening to me.

I’ll add other resources as I think of them. If you have or know of a blog or website that would be a good addition to the list, please let me know. I can be reached via email at ourowncreation (at) gmail dot com.
